FROM DIY PROJECT TO READY-TO-ASSEMBLE KITS

SkyPots hanging kits are an improved version of the original DIY project on The Horticult that was featured in Better Homes and Gardens magazine in 2016. It involved drilling through plastic test plugs from the hardware store and cutting long threaded rods with a hack saw. There had to be an easier way to hang and stack your everyday pots while still allowing the pots to drain.

Introducing SkyPots. With the help of a 3D printer and four years of prototyping in the garden, I was able to design flanges that drain without clogging. I then developed a rod and eye nut system that made the pots connectable. Best of all, the kits can now be assembled by hand with no tools required. I have taken special care to develop high quality kits that can be collected and reused again and again through many years of gardening.

I think you’ll love this modern new way to build vertical gardens with your everyday pots. Prepare to get hooked!
